A Summer To Remember: Before You Lead

What does it truly mean to follow Jesus? Not just on Sunday mornings, but in the everyday moments of our lives? This message takes us back to the simplest and most profound invitation ever extended: 'Follow me.' Before we can ever lead anyone else, we are called to be faithful followers ourselves. The depth of our walk with Christ is the very foundation upon which everything else in our lives is built. Drawing from Matthew 4:19, we are reminded that Jesus did not call the polished or the perfect. He called ordinary, willing people and made them something extraordinary. The promise is still the same today. If we follow Him, He will make us fishers of men. That transformation is not something we manufacture on our own. It is something He does in us as we stay close to Him. The message also draws on the Great Commission in Matthew 28, reminding us that we have been authorized and empowered to go and make disciples. This is not a call reserved for pastors or ministry professionals. It belongs to every single one of us. Our lives are, whether we realize it or not, an open letter being read by everyone around us. The question worth sitting with today is this: what is our life communicating to those who are watching?
