What does it truly mean to trust God when life does not unfold the way we expected? This message dives deep into the subject of healing, one of the most personal and sometimes confusing topics in the Christian faith. We explore what Scripture actually says about healing, beginning with James 5, where we are reminded that the prayer of faith offered over the sick carries real spiritual weight. But the message does not stop at physical healing. We are challenged to consider that God is often more concerned with what is happening in us than what is happening to us. He cares about our souls, our growth, and our faith far more than our immediate comfort. We are invited to hold both truths at once: God still heals, and God is always working something deeper. This tension is not a contradiction but an invitation to trust a God whose thoughts and ways are higher than our own, as described in Isaiah 55:8.
