What happens when the Holy Spirit truly takes up residence in our lives? One of the first and most visible things that changes is the way we worship. This message takes us on a journey through Acts chapter 2, where we see that everyone who witnessed what was happening in that upper room knew something was profoundly different about these people. They could not remain unchanged after encountering God, and neither can we. We explore three powerful truths about Spirit-filled worship: that praise changes our perspective, that God's presence changes our person, and that his power changes our purpose. Using the image of a magnifying glass, we are reminded that praise does not make God bigger than he already is, but it makes him bigger in our eyes than whatever problem we have been staring at. Our circumstances may not shift immediately, but our view of them is transformed the moment we turn our gaze toward him. This is not a passive or spectator experience. It is a full-on, all-in surrender that reshapes who we are from the inside out.
