What if the word 'prosperity' has been so misrepresented that we have been missing out on one of God's greatest promises for our lives? This message cuts through the cultural noise and gets back to what Scripture actually says about God's desire to bless his people. Rooted in passages from Genesis, Proverbs, the Psalms, and the New Testament letters written directly to the church, we discover that biblical prosperity is not about accumulating wealth for ourselves but about being positioned by God to make an eternal difference in the lives of others. The Hebrew word behind 'prosperity' literally means to be pushed forward, and that reframes everything. God is not blessing us so we can sit still. He is advancing us so we can advance his kingdom. When we see how the blessing of Abraham now belongs to all who are in Christ, as Galatians 3 makes clear, we realize this is not an Old Testament relic. It is a living promise with our name on it. The question this message leaves us wrestling with is not whether God wants to bless us, but whether we are willing to be the kind of people he can trust with more.
