Pray First: Pt 4 - Day 5

Day 5: Living with Kingdom Purpose

Reading: John 15:8-16; Romans 12:4-8

Devotional:
Jesus said, "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last." Your life has divine purpose beyond just getting to heaven. God wants to use your life now to produce eternal fruit—changed lives, saved souls, disciples made. The only things that last forever are people and God's Word. Everything else fades. This is your glorious inheritance: to partner with God in His redemptive work. You have gifts, talents, and a unique sphere of influence that no one else has. God has strategically placed you where you are for such a time as this. The question isn't whether God can use you—it's whether you'll make yourself available. Start where you are. Take one step of obedience. Let your home become a place of ministry. Your joy will be complete when you're living out God's purpose.

Reflection: What is one specific way you can use your gifts to make an eternal difference this week?

Closing Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of prayer and the promise of Your presence. Help me to make prayer my priority, to find my place with You, and to pray with power and persistence. Give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation so that I may know You intimately. Open the eyes of my heart to see Your perfect plan for my life. Use me to bear fruit that will last for eternity. In Jesus' name, Amen.
