Devotional:

Sometimes we must speak to our own souls: "Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits." Your emotions may be weary, your mind confused, your body exhausted—but that doesn't change who God is. The psalmist lists His benefits: forgiveness, healing, redemption, love, satisfaction, and renewal. Notice these aren't just future promises for heaven; they're present-tense realities for earth. Jesus reigns over sin, disease, condemnation, confusion, and lack. None of these things are more powerful than His power, so they don't get to reign over any area of your life that Jesus paid for. Today, take inventory. Where have you allowed circumstances to reign instead of Christ? Remind yourself of His benefits and let His goodness renew your perspective.
