Devotional:

Seven hundred years before crucifixion was invented, Isaiah prophesied the suffering of Jesus with stunning accuracy. He was pierced, crushed, punished, and wounded—all for us. The goodness of God was eternally settled not in comfortable circumstances but in the blood of Calvary. When we question whether God is truly good, we must return to the cross. There, Jesus endured excruciating pain—a word literally meaning "out of the cross"—to purchase our peace and healing. No philosophical argument can match this demonstration of love. Whatever you're facing today, remember: the One who went through all of that for you can absolutely be trusted with your life. His wounds prove His worthiness to reign over every area of your existence.
