Devotional: Redemption means God buys you back, changes you for the better, and restores what was broken. The third promise of Passover reveals that God redeems with an outstretched arm and mighty acts of judgment—not judgment against you, but against the enemy who tries to keep you bound. God causes everything to work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Even when life has worn you down, when people have walked all over you, when you feel stuck in the mud, God sees your worth. He reaches down to lift you out of the miry clay and sets you on solid rock. His gifts and calling are without repentance—God never changes His mind about you.
