Devotional: Paul declared, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me." This is the heart of taking up your cross—it's not about dying, but about living fully for Jesus. Your cross is your calling, your unique purpose in God's kingdom. When you pick up your cross, you pick up your purpose. Jesus fulfilled His mission on the cross; now He calls us to fulfill the Great Commission. This isn't about making our dreams come true, but about making God's dreams come true through us. Purpose is where how God made you collides with what God is doing on earth. You were not saved just to be saved—you were saved to serve, to reach, to make disciples, to be Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him.
