Reading: John 11:17-37

Devotional: "Jesus wept" contains only two words but reveals profound truth about God's heart. Jesus cried even knowing He would raise Lazarus minutes later. Why? Because He entered fully into human grief. His divine knowledge didn't cancel His emotional response to suffering. God is never distant from your pain. When you weep, He weeps with you. Your tears matter to Him. He doesn't rebuke you for grieving or tell you to "just have faith." Instead, He sits with you in your sorrow, offering His presence as comfort. Today, whatever causes your tears, know that Jesus sees, understands, and grieves alongside you before bringing resurrection.
