Pray First: Pt 2 - Day 5

Day 5: Standing in the Gap

Reading: 1 Timothy 2:1-4; James 4:7-8

Devotional: The Ark of the Covenant was where God's presence dwelt—the innermost place of intimacy. When you've walked through thanksgiving, remembered the cross, surrendered your life, invited the Spirit's work, and filled yourself with God's Word, you arrive at a profound truth: God has already supplied all your needs. Now you can intercede for others. A praying person is a powerful person. The devil fears believers who know their authority in Christ. When you draw near to God, He draws near to you. From that place of intimacy, you can stand in the gap for your family, your community, your nation. Command the enemy to release those he's holding captive. Declare healing, salvation, and freedom. You are an ambassador for Christ, representing His full authority.

Reflection Question: Who has God placed on your heart to intercede for, and what will you declare over them today?

Closing Challenge: This week, practice the Tabernacle Prayer model daily. Walk through each station: thanksgiving, focusing on the cross, surrendering your life, inviting the Holy Spirit, reading God's Word, worshiping His name, and interceding for others. Watch how this pattern transforms not just your prayer life, but your entire relationship with God.
