Pray First: Pt 3 - Day 2

Day 2: Praying for Influence

Reading: Acts 1:8; Matthew 5:13-16

Devotional:
Jabez prayed, "Enlarge my territory." He wasn't asking for more land—he was asking for greater influence for God's purposes. When your world is too small, you become self-focused, consumed by your problems rather than God's purposes.
Every believer is called to be a minister—not necessarily a pastor, but someone who lives out their faith for the benefit of others. You are a kingdom of priests, called to represent God wherever you go. Your workplace, neighborhood, and family are your mission field.
God wants to expand your influence, but that requires stepping beyond your comfort zone. It means dreaming bigger dreams and believing God for things only He can accomplish through you. Don't settle for being a footnote in history when God has called you to make an eternal difference.

Reflection: Where is God calling you to have greater influence? What territory has He placed on your heart to claim for His kingdom?
