Focal Point: Pt 4 - 5-Day Devotional: Jesus Restores - Day 5

Day 5: Walking by Faith, Not by Sight

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:1-7; Romans 8:28

Devotional: We walk by faith, not by sight. This isn't just a nice saying—it's the operating system of the Kingdom. Faith believes God's word more than what our eyes see. The doctor's report may say one thing, but God's word says, "By His stripes you are healed." Your bank account may look empty, but God promises to supply all your needs.

This doesn't mean denying reality; it means declaring a greater reality. Yes, the problem exists—but God is bigger than the problem. Romans 8:28 promises that God causes all things to work together for good for those who love Him. Not some things. All things.

You don't have to understand how God will work it out. You just need to trust that He will. Stop trying to figure out God's plan and start trusting God's character. He is faithful. He is good. And He will not put you to shame.

Reflection: What situation requires you to trust God's word over what you currently see?

Closing Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. You are still healing, still restoring, still making all things new. I bring my broken places to You—my health, my relationships, my finances, my faith. I choose to believe Your word over my circumstances. Restore what the enemy has stolen. Heal what has been broken. Give me faith to walk in the fullness of what You've already provided. In Jesus' name, Amen.
