Devotional: The parable of the talents reveals a sobering truth: God expects us to multiply what He's invested in us. Two servants doubled their resources and heard "Well done, good and faithful servant." One buried his talent out of fear and lost everything. Perhaps you think you don't have much to offer God. But one bag of gold is infinitely more than none. Whatever gifts, resources, time, or influence you have—God gave them to you intentionally. Don't let fear of failure cause you to bury your potential. You won't accidentally lose your salvation by stepping out in faith. Start where you are, use what you have, and trust God with the results. You'll give account for what you did with what He gave you.
