Reading: Mark 5:35-43

Devotional: "Your daughter is dead. Why bother the teacher anymore?" These words could have ended Jairus's hope. The worst had happened. But Jesus spoke five powerful words: "Don't be afraid, just believe."

Fear and faith cannot occupy the same space. When circumstances scream that it's too late, that God has forgotten you, that your situation is beyond repair—Jesus whispers, "Just believe." He didn't ask Jairus to understand how a dead girl could live. He asked him to trust the One who holds life itself.

What has fear convinced you is impossible? What dream has been declared dead? Jesus specializes in resurrection. He evicted the doubters before He raised the girl, because unbelief hinders miracles. Surround yourself with faith-filled voices. Remove the mockers from your inner circle. Then watch Jesus do the impossible.
