Reading: Ephesians 4:31-32; Matthew 6:14-15

Devotional: Unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. It takes root in your heart, grows bitterness, and defiles many areas of your life—relationships, peace, even your health. The person who hurt you may have moved on completely unaware of the prison you're living in. Today, God invites you to freedom. Forgiveness doesn't mean what they did was okay; it means you're releasing them from your judgment and trusting God's justice. Remember how much you've been forgiven—sins past, present, and future, all covered by Christ's blood. That same grace empowers you to extend forgiveness to others. Who comes to mind as you read this? Speak their name to God today and say, "I choose to forgive them as I've been forgiven." Let yourself off the hook by letting them off yours.
