Devotional: The woman with the issue of blood teaches us that desperation can dismantle our dignity and pride—and that's exactly what faith requires. For twelve years she suffered, spending everything on physicians who couldn't help. Yet when she heard Jesus was near, she pressed through the crowd with one thought: "If I can just touch His garment."
Jesus didn't even speak to her first. Her faith reached Him before her words could. He said, "Your faith has healed you." Not His willingness alone, but her believing reception of His power. Are you desperate enough for Jesus to push past the crowd, past your embarrassment, past what others think? God honors the faith that refuses to give up. Stop waiting for perfect conditions. Reach out now. Jesus is here, and He feels your touch of faith.
