Day 3: Holding On When You Cannot See Ahead - Unshakable: Real Perspective

Reading: Hebrews 11:8-10

Devotional: Abraham left his home without knowing his destination. He lived in tents in the very land God had promised him, still waiting, still trusting. He could have looked at his circumstances and concluded God had forgotten him. Instead, Scripture says he was confidently looking forward to a city with eternal foundations. That posture of forward-looking faith is what the Greek word apokaradokia describes — an eager, craning, expectant hope that does not shrink back just because the answer has not yet arrived. You do not need to know every step of the journey. You only need to know the one who is leading you.

Reflection: In what area of your life have you stopped looking forward because the answer has taken too long?

Practical Application: Identify one promise from Scripture that applies to a situation you are trusting God with. Write it on a notecard and place it somewhere you will see it daily as a physical reminder to keep your eyes forward.
