Day 4: Overcoming the Questions That Hold You Back: Alien Encounters

Reading: Exodus 3:1-14

Devotional: Moses stood before a burning bush and still found reasons to hesitate. Who am I? Who are you? What if they do not believe me? What if I fail? These were not signs of weak faith -- they were honest questions from an ordinary man being called to an extraordinary purpose. God did not answer most of those questions by addressing Moses. He answered them by revealing himself. When you know who God is, the question of who you are becomes far less frightening. Condemnation, doubt, fear, and reluctance all shrink in the presence of the great I Am. Draw near to him today and let his identity reshape yours.
