Day 5: Stepping Out in Faith: Alien Encounters

Reading: Hebrews 11:1-6

Devotional: Faith is not the absence of uncertainty -- it is the decision to trust God in the middle of it. Moses eventually stepped away from that mountain and walked toward the very people and the very king he feared. He did not go because he had it all figured out. He went because God said he would be there. Hebrews tells us it is impossible to please God without faith, and that God rewards those who sincerely seek him. Whatever step of obedience you have been postponing, whatever calling you have been reluctant to answer, today is the day to move. God is not waiting for you to be ready. He is waiting for you to trust him.

Reflection Question: What is one specific step of faith God has been calling you to take that you have been putting off, and what would it look like to take that step this week?
