Day 1: You Are Not Alone - Unshakable: Real Hope

Reading: Romans 8:14-17

Devotional: One of the enemy's oldest tactics is convincing you that no one understands what you are going through. But Romans 8 declares that the Spirit of God himself lives within you, bearing witness that you belong to the Father. You are not an orphan wandering through life unnoticed. You are a child of God, led by his Spirit, known by name. The isolation you feel is a lie. The truth is that the God who created everything has chosen to be present with you specifically, personally, and permanently. You are not alone, and you never have to be again.

Reflection: In what area of your life have you been believing the lie that no one cares or understands? Bring that specific area before God in prayer today and ask him to replace that lie with the truth of his presence.

Practical Application: Write down one moment from your past week where God's presence was evident, even if you did not recognize it at the time. Thank him for it specifically.
