Day 4: Pain Has a Purpose - Unshakable: Real Perspective

Reading: Genesis 50:20 and 2 Corinthians 4:17

Devotional: Joseph was betrayed by his brothers, falsely accused, and forgotten in prison. Every chapter of his story looked like defeat. But God was writing a different ending than anyone could see. When Joseph finally stood before his brothers, he did not offer bitterness — he offered grace, and he declared that what they intended for harm, God had turned for good. Your pain is not wasted in the hands of God. He does not just redeem the outcome; he redeems the process. The very thing the enemy used to try to destroy you can become the very thing God uses to define your purpose and extend his glory through your life.

Reflection: Is there a painful chapter in your story that you have never allowed God to redeem? What would it look like to offer that to him today?

Practical Application: Pray specifically over one painful experience from your past, asking God to show you how he wants to bring purpose out of it. Then ask him to bring someone across your path this week who needs to hear what you have learned.
