Day 5: Keeping Your Eyes on the Champion - Unshakable: Real Perspective

Reading: Hebrews 12:2-3

Devotional: Jesus endured the cross by fixing his eyes on what was beyond it — the joy set before him. He disregarded the shame. He endured the suffering. And now he is seated at the right hand of God, and Scripture says he has seated us with him in heavenly places. The same spirit that raised Jesus from the grave lives in every believer. That means the power that conquered death, hell, and the grave is the very same power available to you today. You do not have to ride through life defeated. Throw your shoulders back. Crane your neck. The Champion is yours, and he has already won.

Reflection: Where have you been looking at the cross instead of beyond it? What joy has God set before you that you need to fix your eyes on again?

Practical Application: End each day this weekend by naming one thing God has done that proves he is faithful. Let gratitude recalibrate your perspective and remind you that the same God who brought you through before is working on your behalf right now.
