Reading: Luke 9:23-24; Romans 6:11-14

Devotional: Jesus didn't call us to casual Christianity but to radical surrender: "Deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow me." This isn't about earning salvation—that's finished. This is about transformation. Every morning presents a choice: will your old nature or Christ's nature lead today? Dead people don't get offended, don't seek revenge, don't worry about reputation. When you've been crucified with Christ, earthly troubles lose their power because you know where you're going. Before your feet hit the floor, pray: "God, search me. Show me offensive ways. Help me die to selfishness, anger, and fear today." Forgive people before they offend you. Surrender your agenda before circumstances test you. This crucified life isn't bondage—it's freedom from being controlled by emotions, others' actions, or circumstances. What needs to die today so Christ can truly live through you?
