God's promises to the Israelites weren't given after they escaped Egypt—they were spoken while they were still in chains. This reveals something profound about our Heavenly Father: His promises are for you exactly where you are right now. You don't need to clean yourself up or figure everything out before coming to God. The first promise—"I will bring you out"—is about salvation you cannot earn. When you couldn't save yourself, Jesus saved you by His precious blood. Today, remember that God's grace met you in your mess, not after you fixed it. Your freedom began the moment you said yes to Jesus, regardless of your circumstances.
