Devotional:
Being freed from Egypt is one thing; believing you're no longer a slave is another. Many Christians live saved but defeated, still identifying with their old life rather than their new identity in Christ. The Bible declares that anyone in Christ is a new creation—the old has gone! Stop calling yourself "just a sinner saved by grace." You are a son or daughter of the King, made perfect in your spirit through Jesus. The enemy wants you stuck in shame, but there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Your body may have old desires, your mind may have battles, but your spirit—the truest part of you—is made perfect and holy. Let that truth transform how you see yourself today.
