Devotional: Discovering your gift is just the beginning; developing and using it brings fulfillment. God didn't give you gifts to keep them buried or unused. The purpose of church leadership is not to entertain you with their ministry but to equip you for yours. Your gift may not be perfect when you first discover it—that's normal. Growth requires development, practice, and mentorship from mature believers. God has given each of you a gift from His great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Your purpose is to serve God by serving others. This is true worship—being a living sacrifice. When you use your gifts to help God's people, you're not just doing good works; you're fulfilling the very reason you were created and redeemed.
