Day 3: Pain Turns Into Purpose - Unshakable: Real Maturity

Reading: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4; James 1:2-4

Devotional: The Word of God does not promise a life without trouble. It promises a God who is present in the trouble and purposeful through it. James instructs believers to consider trials an opportunity for joy — not because pain feels good, but because tested faith produces endurance, and endurance produces completeness. The comfort God gives you in your suffering is never meant to stop with you. It flows outward. The very wound that the enemy intended to silence your voice becomes the source of your most powerful testimony. What was meant to kill you can reveal you — revealing the character of Christ that has been formed in you through the fire.

Reflection Questions:

• Is there a trial you have been through that God has already used to bring comfort or hope to someone else?
• Are you currently in a season of testing where you need to choose to let endurance grow rather than giving up?

Practical Application: Reach out today to one person who is going through something you have already walked through. You do not need to have all the answers. Simply share what God did for you. That is the comfort of 2 Corinthians 1:4 in action.
