This Changes Everything: Healing - Day 2

Reading: Matthew 10:28; Romans 8:18

Devotional: It is natural to focus on what hurts most visibly. Physical pain, financial pressure, and broken relationships demand our attention. But God sees deeper. He is always more concerned with the condition of your soul than the comfort of your circumstances. Jesus himself warned his followers not to fear those who can only touch the body. The real and lasting work God does is internal, eternal, and far more significant than what any earthly trial can threaten. Your suffering here is real, but it is also temporary. God is doing something in you that will outlast everything happening to you.
