This Changes Everything: Healing - Day 4

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 10:35-36

Devotional: Elijah prayed, then sent his servant to look for rain. The servant came back with nothing. Elijah sent him again. And again. Seven times the servant went before a small cloud appeared on the horizon. Most people give up before the seventh look. Walking by faith and not by sight does not mean you are blind to your circumstances. It means your circumstances do not get the final word. God's promise does. Do not throw away your confident trust in him. Patient endurance is not weakness. It is the evidence that your faith is real, rooted, and growing. Keep going back.

Reflection: Is there a promise God has given you that you have stopped believing because you have not yet seen it? What would it mean to go back and trust him again today?
