This Changes Everything: Prosperity - Day 2

Devotional:

Biblical prosperity is not a private reward. It is a public testimony. When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices. When God's people are flourishing in their souls, their marriages, their health, and their generosity, the world around them takes notice. The word prosperity in Hebrew simply means to be pushed forward, advanced by a source greater than yourself. God wants to push you forward so you can push others toward him. The tree planted by streams of water does not hoard the water. It produces fruit that feeds others. Let God define what abundance looks like in your life, and then let it overflow.

Reflection: Have you been viewing God's blessings as a destination or as a direction toward others?

Practical Application: Spend time in prayer asking God to reveal one area of your life where he wants to push you forward for the benefit of someone else.
