Devotional:

Whatever holds the first place in your life shapes everything that follows. God does not ask to be first because he is demanding. He asks to be first because he knows that nothing and no one else can sustain you, provide for you, or love you the way he does. Honoring God with your first and your best is not a transaction. It is a declaration of trust. It is saying, I believe you are who you say you are, and I believe you will do what you said you would do. When God is truly first, the rest of your life begins to align with his purposes rather than your own anxieties.

Reflection: In what area of your life, whether time, money, or relationships, does something other than God tend to come first?

Practical Application: This week, begin one daily routine, whether your morning, your giving, or your decision-making, by deliberately acknowledging God first before anything else.
