Re-Vision Church - Day 1

Reading: Philippians 3:12-14

Devotional: Our minds can only focus on one thing at a time—either our problems or God's promises. Like the optical illusions that reveal different images depending on where we look, our spiritual perspective determines what we see. Paul understood this principle when he wrote about pressing toward the goal. He chose to forget what was behind and strain toward what was ahead. This week, examine what captures your attention. Are you fixated on yesterday's failures or tomorrow's fears? God invites you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. When you focus on His faithfulness, your problems don't disappear, but they lose their power to define you. Choose today to see God's promises more clearly than your problems.
